COLLABORATE THROUGH THE RECESSION:
A Roundtable Discussion Focused on Ways to Maximize Resources and Reduce Expenses
Facilitator: Larry Capo, Executive Director
Young Audiences New Jersey
In this three-hour roundtable discussion we will explore ways our organizations might partner, collaborate, share resources and reduce expenses through these difficult economic times.
We will begin by discussing overall challenges and ways each organization is addressing them. In part two of the meeting we will brainstorm about how we can--as a unified group--look at collaborative ways to help reduce our bottom line expenses. Lastly we will look at action steps to move our ideas into reality.
Come to the meeting with ideas (no idea is too big or too small) that address questions like:
As a Collective could we negotiate lower printing cost?
-
Would it be possible to share administrative staff amongst organizations?
-
Where are the areas that we are reinventing the wheel?
Who Should Attend: This discussion is particularly suited for Executive Directors, Program Managers, Education Directors and Financial Directors or Administrative staff responsible for budgeting.
